I’ve been feeling a strange pain in my groin since last week after intimate moments with my partner. But I can’t seem to gather the courage to go to the doctor; I’m really embarrassed. Is this normal, or could it be a serious issue? What steps should I take about this? I’m honestly confused.

6I had a similar pain in my groin as well, but I brushed it off thinking it was close to my period. It turned out to be a urinary tract infection. So these things can be serious, don’t ignore them.
You said it happens after your partner. But is there another trigger, like if you’re exercising or sitting too much? ![]()
@soncaykaldi I’m not doing any sports or anything, I’m just sitting all the time because of work. It becomes even more noticeable after the relationship.
But isn’t it ridiculous that I feel embarrassed about going to the doctor? It’s health, what is there to be ashamed of? Would it be better if something comes up?
@aklimkaldi Pain after the relationship can be a specific sign. It could be an infection, an ovarian cyst, or something else. I think you should see a gynecologist or urologist; don’t delay.
@camkenari not everyone can be as relaxed as you. There may be privacy concerns, so don’t react too harshly.
