I witnessed the disgusting conversations of my male coworkers

Today, when I accidentally walked into the kitchen at the office, I heard my male colleagues making disgusting comments about our other female coworkers. I was literally shocked; it turns out those guys who smile at us are talking behind our backs. Honestly, I can't decide whether I should confront them or just keep my distance without causing a scene because I don't want the atmosphere to get tense, but it really upset me.
