My family thinks I'm unemployed just because I work from home

I've been doing design work from home for a while now, and I'm actually making good money, but my mom comes over every day and says, "You’re just sitting around at home, do this cleaning, do that cooking," so they literally think I'm unemployed because I don’t have a regular job. She doesn't want me to spend my money on myself, and my dad expects me to contribute to the household. If I say anything, I feel guilty. Is freelance work a crime or something? I just don't get it.
