I suddenly felt pain in my chest, should I wait?

I’ve been feeling a stabbing pain in my right chest off and on since this morning, lasting 1-2 seconds. It feels like a muscle pain, but I’m not entirely sure. Should I go to the doctor just in case, or should I wait a few days to see if it goes away? Has anyone else experienced something like this?

Now you’re saying you have pain in your right breast, and the possibility that it might be something related to the heart comes to my mind. It could also be a muscle strain, but it’s hard to say for sure. I think you should make an appointment with internal medicine; they will refer you to cardiology if necessary. It’s best not to neglect things related to the chest.

Yeah, something similar happened to my friend too; he thought it was just muscle pain and ignored it, but it turned out to be a simple nerve compression. But he needed to see a doctor. I think you should do the same; don’t wait around for a few days for no reason.

Chest pain can have multiple causes. It may stem from a heart, lung, or muscle-related issue. If you’re going through a particularly stressful time, it could be muscle-related, but you should definitely consult a doctor to clarify this. Internal medicine or cardiology would be the right place to guide you.

I also had this feeling like something was stuck right in the chest, it lasted for a few seconds and then went away. The doctor said it’s a muscle spasm, caused by vitamin deficiency and stress. Yours could be stress-related too, but I think you should see a doctor to find out for sure.

Thank you all, friends. My mom still says it’s about the cold, but this morning when I moved a bit, it also got stuck a couple of times. Because of that, I’m going to a hospital tomorrow. I hope nothing serious comes up.
