I can't explain the pain in my groin to anyone

I’ve had pain in my groin area for the last few days, and it’s making it hard for me to walk. Honestly, I need to see a doctor, but I’m really embarrassed about how to express this pain. Should I go to a gynecologist or another specialist? Also, I’m worried that my family would react strangely if they find out. Has anyone else had a complaint like this before? What should I do?

I had it too, I went straight to the women’s clinic. You’re a bit embarrassed, understandably, but it’s health after all; who else will take care of it? I think you shouldn’t wait too long either, it might get worse.

Are you sure it’s childbirth? You say it’s making it hard to walk; could it be something related to your bones? Haven’t you gone to orthopedics?

@uykuarasi actually, I haven’t been to the doctor at all. I thought it would be obstetrics since the pain is mostly in the groin area. But I never considered orthopedics.

@camkenari not everyone is going to go for a gynecological exam, you know. This groin area can relate to so many things. After all, if you hesitate to go to the doctor, it just drags on longer.

The cause of groin pain can be very broad. Obstetrics, urology, general surgery, and even orthopedics examine factors that affect the pain. I recommend that you first see an internal general surgeon; they will guide you.
