My husband did work without my knowledge in the rental contract

I'm suspicious of my husband. It turns out that my brother-in-law's signature is also on the new rental contract along with my wife's. He added him without telling me. I'm already shouldering almost all the expenses of this house, but what's the deal with my brother-in-law being included now? Is he hiding something from me or does he have a different plan? I really don't know what to think right now.

If this family gets too involved in business, I would be careful, I say. My brother also made my brother-in-law a partner in a business, and later they sold the house without us knowing.
