The hairdresser cut my hair too much, I actually cried at that moment.

I wanted to make a change on my own, so I went to the hairdresser. I requested shoulder-length, but the woman didn't listen and left it at ear length. Now everyone says it looks good on me, but I feel bad about it. Does anyone know quick ways to grow it out or how you got over such a trauma?

Try argan oil or castor oil for fast hair growth. Apply by massaging into the scalp 2-3 times a week. Biotin tablets are also effective, and you can get them from the pharmacy. 🙃

I've experienced something similar, and when I asked her to shorten it a bit, she literally revealed my neck. It took about 4-5 months to recover. I bought hair serums and also made sure to eat well.

Oh, I know that feeling so well. When you look in the mirror, you can't recognize yourself for a while. You get a shock, and it's like you're thinking, 'this isn't me.' It might suit you, but I understand how you feel.

Let's be honest, did you clearly explain what you wanted to the hairdresser? Did you show a picture? Or did you just say "shoulder length" and leave it at that? I think there might have been a lack of communication.

Some hairdressers cut it like this, especially. I think your hair is the kind that can be styled more. Maybe they cut it shorter because they liked the model more.

I'm going to ask something, didn't they show it in front of a mirror or something before cutting? Aren't they supposed to get a final confirmation normally? 😐

Update: Actually, yes, the hairdresser asked something, but I think I didn't speak clearly. Still, I didn't expect he would cut it that short. Maybe I have some blame in this too.

Here's the issue: They needed to obtain your explicit consent before doing anything to your body or hair. You've mentioned 'shoulder level'; that's your line. They should not have crossed that boundary.

In such cases, the general situation is as follows: Hairdressers may switch to the model they think suits the face shape better, but final approval is essential. In such situations, during the next haircut, keep checking in the mirror constantly.
