Once, something like this happened to me. I caught my fiancé talking with his ex while messaging. Later he explained that they were talking purely for work reasons, but we had quite an argument because he didn't inform me about it 🤦♀️

What does the message say? The content is important. Is it just a casual greeting, or are old issues being brought up? Depending on that, the rationale for the discussion would change.
