How long has he/she been acting this way? If you liked it at first, you need to understand why he/she started to become so controlling afterward. Maybe he/she is dissatisfied with something or saw a mistake in the report? 🙂

Clients generally do this for two reasons: Either they really don't want any mistakes and are detail-oriented, or they don't feel completely secure in their own work. If they were hiding something from you, they wouldn't talk this much face to face anyway 🥲

I think there's something else going on there. The boss might be feeling pressure from above or could be focusing specifically on your work. Excessive control sometimes indicates that they are afraid of something; are you going to investigate the background?
