I’m really embarrassed and scared, but I think I have to go now. I’m 24 years old and I’ve never been to a gynecologist; just the thought of being examined down there really gets to me. The other day, a friend told me some pretty awful stories, and it made me even more hesitant, but my period has also been really messed up. How did those who went for the first time gather the courage? Does it really hurt that much? Please give me some advice.
