My mom is mad at us for paying rent

My mom still gets angry that I'm living alone at home in Istanbul. She says, 'Instead of paying rent, save that money for yourself and come back home.' But I've worked so hard to create a routine for myself that I'm not thinking of giving it up easily. How would you handle it if your mom put pressure on you in a situation like this? I see her point, but I'm living my own life.
