I lost my breath while defending my mom's sanitary pad

So, my mom found a box of tampons in my drawer and honestly, she made a huge deal out of it. She kept insisting how it's wrong for a single girl to use them, no matter how much I try to explain it to her. I really can't believe we're still having these discussions in this day and age. Is there anyone else who has issues with their family because of this, or am I just overreacting?

So where exactly did you put the box that you saw it? And how long have you been using it, I mean, did you just notice it?

I swear, I experienced the same thing. My mom went absolutely crazy when she saw it in my drawer. Now I'm hiding the box somewhere else; she doesn't even understand it, to be honest dealing with people like this is really hard.
