Is it good for my friend to share their acne issues on social media?

The other day, a friend of mine shared photos related to acne issues on social media. To be honest, it made me think about the comments from others. Is it really appropriate for everyone to see such a personal situation? Do you have an opinion on this?

why is this necessary

my friend was also posting about acne. but she received really bad comments, and then she deleted it. it’s a matter of courage.

So, did they consult you while sharing the photos? You mentioned privacy.

I think you’re overreacting. After all, it’s his body; he can share it if he wants to. Why would it be wrong?

@yazipsildim no, he didn’t ask me, but then he mentioned in passing, ‘will you support me?’

It’s strange that @aklimkaldi hasn’t responded, but if they’ve asked for support, their intentions aren’t bad; if they can handle criticism, then there’s no problem.

Having such a personal thing open to comments would make me think too. It’s nice that they seek support, but wouldn’t it be better if they checked the pulse a bit before sharing from the start? Negative comments can be draining on such private matters; do you think they’re in a position to handle that? :face_exhaling:
