I want to move out, but my family never allows it

I want to establish my own routine now. I'm 26 years old, I have a job, but my parents keep saying, "You're a girl, what are you doing living alone?" It's like they're really restricting my life because of this. Every day the same arguments, the same noise, I'm really tired of it. Is there no way to convince them, or should I just handle everything secretly? I'm really at a dead end.

I experienced the same thing; there was a lot of fighting and noise in my case too. At 26, while I had my job and responsibilities, I secretly rented a place and moved my belongings, but they accepted it only then—things just don't work out any other way.

Well, does your mom say the phrase "this girl is a burden" only, or does your dad think the same way? When you have your own job and responsibilities, they can't really hinder you financially, so how are they applying the psychological pressure exactly? Can you elaborate a bit more? 🤦‍♀️
