A couple of phenomena announced their breakup last week and unfollowed each other. Just when everyone thought the incident was over, they shared stories from the same place today. Did they really reconcile, happen to run into each other by chance, or is this just another PR move? Isn’t it strange to expose their young followers to such confusing things?
A similar situation had happened with another couple last year. They said they had broken up, everyone panicked, but then they posted stories from the same vacation. Turns out they hadn’t broken up at all, it was all just PR. I think this is the same. Because you wouldn’t meet in that place if it were a serious breakup.
I’m gonna ask something, did they appear together while posting stories at the same place or separately? Because if they appeared together, then it’s all clear, but if separately, it’s still a bit murky ![]()
@merve345 they posted separate stories but it’s clear they’re next to each other. There are few people at the venue after all, the things in the background are the same.
@yasemin_ist I don’t think it’s wise to speak so definitively. Not every breakup is PR after all, maybe they really ran into each other or met up to sort something out? Saying it’s just PR feels a bit too bold to me.
Such events are frequently discussed in mainstream media as well because the relationship dynamics of phenomena often operate like a brand. Scenarios like this may be preferred especially due to the desire to influence young followers. However, it’s hard to say anything definitive because the illusion of social media is very strong.
@deniz_deniz yeah but think about it. You’re going to say you broke up and then post a story at the venue? Who’s going to believe this coincidence? I can’t buy that, it’s a planned thing ![]()
