I'm dieting but I raid the fridge at night, is that normal?

I've been trying to diet for a long time, but I lose control at night. During the day, I'm a model citizen, but at night, I sneak in a wrap in the dark. How can I stop this, or does this happen to everyone? Or am I just weak-willed?

I had the same thing, I was literally opening the fridge at night with love. Here’s how I solved it: I eat yogurt with cinnamon before going to bed, that helps curb the late-night sweet cravings a bit. But the wrap situation has leveled up, you might want to take that wrap out of the house first.

I was also searching for chocolate like crazy at night while on a diet. I asked the dietitian, and she said, 'If you get enough carbohydrates during the day, you won't crave it at night.' Maybe you're eating too little during the day, just think about it 😮‍💨

Now be honest, are you really that innocent during the day? Or are you just fooling yourself by saying you eat a little? Honestly, no one attacks a dürüm at night on a normal day.

Nighttime snacking cravings are usually related to either blood sugar or habits. If this happens constantly, it might be due to an imbalance in your meals or you might be very stressed before going to sleep. I would recommend telling a dietitian about your entire day, it really helps.

Update: During the day, I sometimes skip my lunch very lightly, and in the evening, I avoid eating bread. I’m probably making a mistake somewhere, as you said. But it feels just as bad as the wrap situation at night; I don’t even know how to break that habit.

It's very wrong of you to belittle your efforts by calling them 'weak character.' Sure, there are slip-ups, but dieting requires serious resistance. We're all human, and sometimes we can lose control. Don't be so hard on yourself 😳

They say that food eaten at night directly turns into weight by morning, I wonder if that's the case? Also, they say that eating at night makes it harder to sleep. I read this somewhere, is it true?

The whole idea of gaining weight overnight is misinformation. It doesn't matter whether you ate at night or in the morning; what matters is how much you ate in total. If you think otherwise, how are you following your diet? Learn the correct information first.
