My spouse teased me in the WhatsApp group, and I got upset
Your spouse thought it was a joke, but you felt uncomfortable. I think such things should be discussed between couples; everyone's sensitivities are different.

The same thing happened to me. My spouse was telling our friends about the little issues between us all the time for a while. At first, I reacted with a mix of jokes, but then I got really uncomfortable and sat down to talk. I clearly stated my boundaries. It’s important to be clear about these things; otherwise, it becomes a habit.
Come on, guys, you're exaggerating, in my opinion. The guy has already shown there's nothing wrong with it. Does everyone have to have something secret from their partner? And you keep talking about 'privacy,' so you shouldn't snoop through phones either, in my opinion 🙄
But what exactly was a private matter? I mean, everyone's understanding of privacy varies. Did the situation really humiliate you? Or do you think you're exaggerating a bit?
@gizemci_estetik Let me put it this way, it was about something I'm not skilled at. It was related to food. So it was a little thing, but I didn't like saying it out loud.
It's completely dependent on the couple's perception. What might be a joke for your partner could be an invasion of privacy for you. Clearly express that you feel uncomfortable. If it happens again, it could turn into an argument. It's important to balance humor and personal space well.
Reading it made me think of my old relationship. They would constantly make jokes that embarrassed me in front of others. They would say, 'Why do you care, don't make a big deal out of it,' but it doesn't work like that. This kind of behavior becomes a habit, be careful.
In the past, things like this didn't happen; everyone knew to keep their issues at home. Now everything is out there for everyone to see, in groups, in public. And then people say, "you're exaggerating." I feel like privacy no longer exists.
@atismaci I think you've underestimated it a bit too. No matter how small the issue may be, the main point is whether or not you feel comfortable. If you felt uneasy, your partner should take that into account. Blurring boundaries for the sake of sincerity is not a good thing.
