My ex commented on my TikTok video

I filmed a video on TikTok last week, it was quite fun. Yesterday, my ex left a comment saying, ‘You’re still very funny :)’ Now, is this a friendly communication or a spark of something? Honestly, we didn’t end things badly when we broke up, but we hadn’t been in contact for a long time. Should I reply, or just act like I didn’t see it?

I think you should ignore it. There’s no need to bring up old issues :smiling_face_with_tear:

my ex-girlfriend had reacted to my story for a while too, she was honestly expecting a bit of attention. clearly, that could be the case :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

So why did you stop talking even though it didn’t end badly? Where did that part break off?

@uykuarasi actually there wasn’t really a reason, let’s say we just naturally forgot about it. We broke up on good terms, but still, there’s some distance.

@camkenari but the story is different. here it’s openly commented on. it’s a bit of a bold move, I don’t think it’s a tactic or anything :woman_facepalming:

I want to say something, but why do you analyze things like this so much? The guy just wrote it, do we really need to search for a deep meaning?

But the main issue is to learn their intention. Just write a simple ‘thank you’, let’s see if they’ll say anything in return. That way, it will become clearer.

But the TikTok comment is pretty obvious, isn’t it? If they were writing for something serious, I think they would choose a more direct message. So, it might just be leaving a kind of “I’m here” hint in their own head; I wouldn’t make a big deal out of it
