I ran into my ex in the same place

Last night, I ran into my ex at a café. She was with her new girlfriend, and when I saw her, it felt like my heart jumped out of my chest. I still have feelings for her, but it seems like she has completely moved on from me. I don't know how to get over this; I'm really struggling.

I experienced the same thing, I saw my ex with his new partner in a café. The first two weeks are tough, but then you forget, and somehow you carry on with your life.

Can I ask you something? Did he notice you there when he saw you, or was there any eye contact? Or was it just a complete coincidence?

@yazipsildim noticed, we locked eyes for a moment but he immediately turned his head away. Honestly, it really bothered me.

I think you're exaggerating a bit, they're just moving on with their life. If they're not that upset about you, why are you still stuck on it? 🙄

@pazardandondum do you really think it's that easy? People can't just cut off their feelings like that, a little understanding 😳

These kinds of situations often stem from a lack of 'closure.' Maybe you can take another look at how you ended the relationship and try to understand the things that were left unresolved within yourself. But it might not be a solution you've spent a lot of time on 🤭

Time is needed, it will pass.

I will ask something else, didn't you even say hello at that moment? For example, when you made eye contact? I think your reactions there are important, was it completely ignoring, or was it a brief human-like response? No one is saying it's "hard", but maybe such a gesture would make you feel different right now.
