Posted an emoji on her ex's story

Yesterday, I noticed on Instagram that he was following his ex-girlfriend. As if that wasn't enough, he even sent a smiling face emoji on her story. It really came to life before my eyes; why would he do something like that? We had never talked about it before, in fact, we had hardly ever brought up the topic of exes. Is this normal or am I overreacting?

something similar happened to me, my partner commented on an old photo of their ex. when I asked, they said it was 'just a friendly thing,' but I never felt at ease. things like this can create trust issues, I think you should sit down and talk about it 🤔

How did you notice this? Did you look for it on purpose or did it just come to you by chance? It could be important.

@soncaykaldi it was a coincidence, someone we both follow had reposted something, that's where I saw it. I didn't stalk on purpose or anything.

@makarnaoncesi but maybe it's really something friendly? There's no need to blow it out of proportion right away; a person needs to take a moment to think. Not everyone has to be enemies with their ex.

Couples need to draw a clear boundary regarding ex-partners. Everyone may have a different sensitivity to this issue, but such situations can be prone to abuse. If you feel uncomfortable, you should express it clearly.

The things written under this title are usually all the same style. One person experiences an event, another says "don't blow it out of proportion," and another gives advice like "talk about trust." But no one says "maybe the other person is the problem." I think there's a lot of trust in this guy here 😂

It's just an emoji, if it was a big deal there would be messaging and all that, I think you’re overreacting. People sometimes get too hung up on things like this 🙄

No way, it's totally natural to feel uncomfortable. If you brush it off without talking, your discomfort might grow. I think you should just ask openly.
