Why is she following her ex?

My girlfriend has started following her ex on social media in a way I never expected. This situation is really bothering me. Does this create a trust issue between us? On one hand, I love her, but I'm having a hard time accepting this. What do you think?

At one point, I had started following my ex again too. I thought he missed me, but he was actually comparing us. Usually, such things come from silly reasons 🙄

Did you see this with your own eyes or did someone else tell you? There are actually things that are just based on claims like this 🥲

@soncaykaldi yes, I stalked from my own account. They had blocked me at first, then added me back. We haven't talked about it at all.

Well, @aklimkaldi, since you know this, it's even weirder that you haven't said anything. If you're uncomfortable, just say so, I think you should just ask directly 🫠

You've checked from your own account, but what is he doing? Are they messaging each other? Maybe he's trying to find out, asking, 'Shall we go back to how things were?' Or maybe he's just showing off. I think you should be on high alert 🤷‍♀️

@benbisorayim what's with the smell of business, maybe they really have just stayed friends. Does everyone think every account is a relationship arena?

You need to ask clearly and look for a safe ground. People can stay in dialogue with their exes, but if this creates discomfort, boundaries should be addressed. Otherwise, constantly questioning will drain you.

An ex's place is to be left behind. That mindset which normalizes following each other by saying "We're friends" doesn't inspire much confidence. I suggest taking care of yourself a bit; this can lead to headaches later on.

Well, there's something like this, let’s say we moved past the friend zone, but why is the obstacle-removal thing going on? What could these actions mean in a normal friendship? Think a bit.
