My roommate wakes up at eight in the morning and immediately starts talking on the phone. But not in a low voice or anything, she talks loudly! I don’t want to wake up like this before a workday and get stressed out. I feel like if I say something, she'll take it the wrong way, but if I don't say anything, I'll explode from frustration.
'I didn't say anything more, I'm just like this,' they said... a classmate had told me the same sentence back in the day. But the difference was, that morning before class, they were playing music and singing loudly. One day, I snapped and said, 'If everyone is in your mood, this school will end!' After that, I cut it off. I think you should speak openly too.
So who is he talking to when he talks loudly like that? Work, family, or friends? It can't be just a one-time thing, right? 🤭
@cicekbocek generally talks with her family, with her mother and so on. But the tone is the same, always high. It's been like this for 2 weeks now.
@guleryuzlu I honestly don't agree. Why should the topic owner expect a silent environment when they wake up in the morning? Maybe the roommate wants to talk out loud as part of their morning routine. It could be a matter of preference. I think both sides should think before speaking 😅
I think the issue isn't the person's morning energy but rather the boundary issue here. The topic you're complaining about actually seems like a boundary violation affecting your way of life. Speaking out loud is a personal choice, but if it has started to disturb others, finding a middle ground is necessary. You could simply express your discomfort clearly one day during a calm time.
