Are the couples going on vacation or fighting?

There’s a famous couple I’ve been following for a while now, they were constantly sharing vacation photos on social media, but there hasn’t been anything for the past two weeks. They’ve quietly deleted all their couple photos too. Do you think they had a fight, or is this one of those attention-seeking stunts? I’m really confused about whom to believe anymore.

Honestly, this has become such a classic move now, either they’re doing it for publicity or something really bad has happened. But usually after about two weeks of silence, we get some sort of “peace holiday” or something. I’d say stay tuned.

Dude, we have couples like that in our school too, always posting stories then suddenly they all disappear. Just last month a friend of mine had a fight with her boyfriend, deleted photos; then they made up the following week. The same thing could happen here.

It can just be their private life; it doesn’t have to be about attracting attention or fighting. Otherwise, does every time they delete a photo have to turn into a script? If a non-famous person did this, no one would care.

Things done to attract attention on social media are already very common. But deleting a photo is actually a somewhat more special signal. This usually happens after an argument, because emotional implications come into play. Of course, it could also be a completely strategic decision, like content planning.

I noticed something: later on, the woman shared a couple of solo vacation photos on her Insta. So I thought maybe they went on separate vacations, but there is still zero activity on the man’s account.

If there is unilateral photo sharing, it either indicates that the other party does not want ‘shared sharing’ or it could be a case of image management. Solo photos are generally considered a signal of individual stance.
