Should I confess my feelings to the person I like, or should I wait?

I have been liking someone for a while, but they aren't making any move at all. So sometimes I wonder if they like me too, but I'm not sure. I want to say it openly, but should I make it a matter of pride, or should I take the courage to do it? What would you do if you were in my place?

I've been in a situation like that too. At first, I waited for them to take the step, but then I realized nothing was happening. In the end, I gathered my courage and said something, and it went really well with a good conversation. Sometimes, you just have to take matters into your own hands.

This feeling is quite familiar. While waiting, one constantly thinks, 'What if they like me but are waiting for me to make a move?' To be honest, saying it gave me some confidence. In any situation, you gain clarity for yourself.

But there could be another possibility; maybe the other person doesn't see that interest in you? If you don't express your liking openly, how can the other person understand? Perhaps you're giving off small signals, but they aren't being understood well enough.

There can be many reasons why the person you're interested in hasn’t made a move. Some might be shy, while others may not fully understand the situation. But the main issue here is being able to express your feelings clearly and openly. This can also bring you a sense of relief. You might even try starting the conversation by asking some open-ended questions.

Actually, I need to add that we sometimes have small conversations between us, but they're never flirty. Just like normal friends. Am I misunderstanding? I'm a bit confused.

I think you should talk in a pretty straightforward way. Just start with a little joke like, 'There's someone I like, and I can't figure out if it's you or not.' If you say it with a smile, it would come off both serious and fun.

Unfortunately, we men often don't take action without very clear signals. Right now, that person might see you as a friend, or maybe they're feeling shy. But if you clearly state things and set boundaries, there won't be any confusion.

I think the main point here is how much effort you put in and how much you get back. If someone isn't taking a step, or isn't reciprocating in some way, it becomes a matter of equality. There is always effort from both sides in communication. You should act with this in mind.

So, during these conversations, has he ever said anything that implied he liked you? Does he even mention interest in anyone else in social settings or anything like that? These things are important clues.
