My content is being stolen, should I report it?

My blog posts and visuals are being used by random accounts on TikTok without even crediting the source. It’s outright theft of effort! But what’s strange is that I’m afraid to complain because it might cause a fight. Do you think it’s better to speak up or just ignore it and move on? If you create content, has this happened to you?

I can say I experienced something similar. Someone used my photo on Instagram, made it their profile picture and all. I reported it directly and had it taken down. But during that process, I went through a real stress battle. My advice is to use the reporting mechanisms but don’t forget to stay calm.

I think you’re late to the TikTok issue. I had a blog post shared on a platform without citing sources once, and I thought about suing, but I sent a warning first. That alone solved the issue. It’s hard to deal with, but it’s essential to protect your rights.

So are your contents very specific? For example, is it easy to prove that it’s you? If evidence is needed, how will you show the publication date or something like that? Have you thought about this?

I don’t know, but I think there’s another intention here. Maybe your content is very popular or someone who reaches them knows you. Be a little more careful, there might be a familiar hand involved in this.

When looking closely, the detail that appears small here is actually at the center of the issue. If I were in your shoes, I wouldn’t make a definitive decision without asking about that detail.
