I'm looking for a job, it never opens up

I've been married to my wife for 4 years. There's something that has caught my attention lately. The work exit time is clear, but whenever I call around that time, she either doesn't pick up or it goes straight to voicemail. When she gets home, she says, 'There was something on the way, I didn't hear it' and so on, but it's like this every time. I can't make sense of it. Is she really busy with something, or is she avoiding someone? Should I ask her about it, or should I stay quiet and just observe?

In the past, people would wait for hours for news to arrive, and relationships would strengthen like that. Now everyone is obsessed with checking their phones as soon as it rings or as soon as they receive a message. Maybe the person is truly busy, lost in thought about something. It would be better to sit at home and ask face-to-face.

How long does it take to reach Eve, does it need to return immediately after work in about 5-10 minutes? Could there really be traffic issues?

@mesafe_emekci actually, the workplace is very close to home; it should take about 15 minutes by car. But they always take 40-45 minutes to get home.

@soran If a 15-minute trip takes 45 minutes, there's definitely something going on. I would ask outright. There must be something he's getting distracted by on the way. Otherwise, is the car broken? 🫠

But here’s my opinion: if you blow things like this out of proportion in your head, the peace in your home will be affected. However, if your partner is genuinely busy, they should clearly express this so you don't make assumptions. Communication is the foundation of marriage, so I think you should talk openly.

@skeptik_hesapci you won't immediately turn this into a drama, everything in our life is not always a disaster. Maybe the road is just longer because of the hairdresser? Let's not blame your spouse for no reason.
