Am I experiencing mobbing at work because I’m getting married?

Hey girls, I want to ask something. Since my boss found out I’m getting married, he’s been acting a bit weird, like he thinks I’m going to leave the job any moment. It feels like he’s constantly looking for someone to replace me. I mean, there’s not even a baby on the way yet, but his attitude has seriously changed. Honestly, it’s really affecting my morale. Do you think I should talk to him directly or just ignore it? I can’t decide.

The way your boss is looking for a replacement as if you're going to resign tomorrow really kills one's enthusiasm. I think it's ridiculous for them to be so prejudiced when there's not even a baby involved. Just go and talk directly, I mean, what do you have to lose?

I experienced the same thing; when I announced I was getting married, my boss's attitude changed literally overnight. He had already started looking for someone to take my place. Honestly, I didn't ignore it at all; I straight up asked him, "Are you looking for someone to replace me?" That's when he backed off a bit.

It's really disheartening when your boss acts like you’re about to quit tomorrow and starts looking for a replacement. I think it’s so unreasonable to be so biased when there isn't even a baby involved. Just go and talk directly, I mean, what do you have to lose?
