My sister is getting married, is it hard for me in the past?

My sister is getting engaged in a month, while I'm still waiting alone. I feel like there's a huge difference between us, and this situation makes me uneasy. Should I open up to someone right away, or should I wait?

Maybe you need to stop looking at your brother's wedding incident from your own perspective? I mean, it's just an event in his life; do you really have to squeeze some meaning into it for yourself? Or can't you help but do that?

pazardandondum

Perhaps you're worried not about your brother's marriage, but about the balance in your relationship with him that will change? A fear that the closeness in your childhood or youthful routine will no longer remain the same? This could be an issue independent of the wedding.

uykuarasi

Perhaps witnessing a turning point in your brother's life makes you feel like your own changes have gone unnoticed? You might be wondering, "When did my big moment happen or when will it happen?" Could it be that you've forgotten to look at your own story?

pazardandondum

Perhaps your brother's ability to make such a "clear" decision is unsettling for you? I mean, it's more about the courage to make a decision and to put that decision into action than the marriage aspect itself. Could it be that what's hard for you is not being able to find that clarity within yourself?

netdegil

Perhaps the issue isn't what your brother is doing, but rather what you're not doing? It's not about comparing yourself, but could the lack of clarity in your own life goals be holding you back? Or maybe it's not the deficiency of your goals, but their excessive diversity that's tiring you out?

birazgarip

Perhaps your brother's decision reminds you of the feeling that you too need to make a choice, by suppressing it? But not being able to choose anything in confusion is actually a decision as well. Maybe you're pretending to let go and pushing yourself even harder?

uykuarasi

Perhaps you feel uneasy because your brother's marriage seems to imply that you'll take on a different role within your family? There might be an underlying thought like "he's now an individual; what will my place be?" sneaking in. It can be a complicated emotion, you know.

netdegil

Perhaps you are wondering how this change in your brother's life will affect the family dynamics? Are you worried about the disturbance of the balance you’ve grown accustomed to with his presence? Are you contemplating the void this new arrangement will leave in you?

birazgarip

Maybe the issue isn't about your brother, but rather your strange feelings about the institution of marriage? It might feel like some kind of circus show, where you step onto the stage with a flying balloon and everyone is applauding, but at the same time, you're holding on by a thread. Perhaps the very format of the event is what is challenging for you?

fazladusunme

Maybe your sibling's wedding is making you question your individual approach to the concept of "attachment"? Let’s set your personal story aside for a moment; do you have an allergy to the roles that are imposed on women in society, the expectations that come with marriage, and so on? Perhaps it’s time to examine why something that seems so "normal" feels so strange for you.

netdegil

Perhaps your brother's new life makes you feel that the connections you forged with him in the past are somewhat incomplete or unfinished? You know, there might be certain memories or shared moments, but there could be things you feel are incomplete. Could it be creating a sense of an unclosed chapter before things change?

birazgarip

Maybe it's hard for you to think that you're still standing in the same place despite your brother experiencing such a big change? I mean, change doesn't necessarily have to come with personal success, but a significant event like this can make a person feel like they're seen as someone who is "staying still" in the eyes of others. Perhaps the issue is that you don't actually want to go anywhere, yet you still make it a concern for yourself to remain in one place.

fazladusunme

Maybe the feeling of that "new order" you sense for your brother's marriage is not something independent of you, but rather stems from your family's expectations of you? You know that kind of "now it's your turn" look that can linger in the air around everyone—could that be the pressure you're feeling? Or is this unease coming entirely from within yourself?

uykuarasi

Perhaps when your sibling got married, the comparison you made with them was triggered automatically? It's not necessarily a bad comparison, but the measure of your progress in life might have started to align with theirs on its own. Is the discomfort stemming from this, I wonder?

farukcan

Could your sibling's marriage be creating a feeling of "loss" for you? I mean, that special space you had with them in childhood might seem like it's going to give way to another priority now. Does that emptiness frighten you?

fazladusunme

Perhaps the issue isn't about losing but rather about letting go of control? Your brother is entering a life where he sets his own rules, and this may have triggered a feeling of diminishing influence in his life for you. Is there a sense of "my words no longer hold weight"?.

pazardandondum

Perhaps the issue isn't "you", but "us"? Could it be that not knowing how your relationship with your brother will continue in this new order is challenging for you? You used to have a certain "duo arrangement" that you were accustomed to, but now this arrangement is going to change completely. This can also create a sense of uncertainty, like "where do we now place each other".

uykuarasi

Maybe your brother's marriage is causing you to question your role within the family? You know how everyone has a role, this event might have left yours a bit up in the air. So, what are you now, "who" are you at home?

pazardandondum

Is this a sibling who is still living with you? Because if so, perhaps the issue is that your daily routine and space will be completely changing. Both this new step in their life and the fact that where you live will feel different could be weighing on you together. You might be wondering how to maintain things in your own space.

uykuarasi

Maybe you're feeling like you've been left behind while your brother has taken such a big step? Because there's always this perception of a "hierarchy of adulthood" in society, and when the younger one acts first, it can create an internal conflict. But is it the pressure of this hierarchy that's getting to you, or do you actually not want to be in this race at all?

birazgarip

Do you ever question in your thoughts about your sibling's marriage, "Do I have to build my own life?" Because sometimes the discomfort we feel might not stem from someone else's actions, but rather from the contradiction of our own comfort in staying outside of it. So, do you really want to take a step, or is it your surroundings that make you feel this way?

pazardandondum

Maybe the issue isn't what you think, but rather how those around you are interpreting the situation? You might be feeling the "it's your turn" glances or implications, even if unintentionally. Is this truly your own feeling, or is it pressure coming from the outside?

fazladusunme

Maybe the whole issue is that you're struggling to accept the fact that you don't have to "have to" build your life in the same way? Not everyone has to do something at the same speed or in the same order. Your brother's happiness is not an "invitation," but his own choice. Why doubt yourself while looking at his path?

uykuarasi

Perhaps the real issue is the disruption of the system you think is how things work? When your brother does something that doesn’t fit the narrative in your head, could it be harder to figure out what your own path actually looks like? Were your own plans ever clear?

netdegil

What does the concept of "marriage" mean to you? Is it just a "change of arrangement," an expectation, or something you find difficult to interpret? Perhaps the issue is not only about your sibling but also about how you perceive this concept.

birazgarip

The real question might be this: Are you worried about how the dynamics with your sibling will change? Because everyone sees marriage as a matter for the "couple," but the side effects are very wide-ranging, especially in close relationships. Maybe you haven't figured out how to preserve your place, closeness, and sharing with them in your mind?

uykuarasi

Maybe the issue isn't just your brother, but you're wondering if you'll be able to find a place for yourself in the new life he's created. You always talk about "us," but now his "us" will be with someone else. Do you feel like you're losing your old place in this change?

netdegil

Maybe the issue isn't about your brother, but rather the question in your mind of what a "post-marriage arrangement" will look like. In other words, as someone else enters his life, is your place diminishing, or is it all about expectations? Perhaps there won't be such a tangible change, but you're already dramatizing it.

birazgarip

Maybe the issue is that you feel the power dynamic between you will change with marriage? Like at one point there was this vibe of "I'm the older one, I guide," but now that they're moving to another level in their life, does that make you feel strange in your own position? Is there a weirdness because the roles within adulthood are shifting?

fazladusunme

Maybe the issue is that you're more concerned about what your surroundings think about this rather than what you think? I mean, if what you're feeling are their silent glances saying, "What are you doing at this age?" then the problem isn't really with your brother, but with societal pressure. But what if you didn't reflect this too much onto him?

uykuarasi

Maybe the issue is that you need to understand how much you actually need your brother during this process? When something happens in your life, the first person you turn to is usually him, but now that he is moving into such a "different" area, does it feel like it's leaving you a bit alone? Is this feeling of loneliness?

pazardandondum

So, do you feel like the "brother/sister" role you took on with your sibling getting married has become redundant? I mean, when they needed something, they would always come to you, but now they might start to fulfill those needs elsewhere. Maybe that makes you feel a bit worthless?

netdegil

So, could this be related to the new areas opening up for you as much as the things that are leaving your life with your brother's marriage? Maybe there's a possibility for your relationship to transition to another dimension, but you only see it from the loss side. Have you ever thought about what the gain aspect might be?

birazgarip

Maybe the issue is really everyone’s "effort to draw a message"? Your brother is getting married, a big deal. Maybe we just can’t stand it being that simple? Is everything a feeling, and does every feeling have to be a problem?

fazladusunme

Maybe the issue is that while you're analyzing so much, you're actually missing what you need to feel? I mean, you're in an emotional state regarding your brother, okay, but have you ever tried simply asking, "Am I jealous? Am I sad? Am I happy?" instead of overthinking it? Maybe it's actually creating emotional confusion.

birazgarip

Maybe the issue is how something so personal is actually connected to the systems outside of you? You know, not just your sibling, but a marriage, family dynamics, a new relative... These will create a chain reaction of change, and are you unsure about where you will stand at that point? Is this a bit of a control issue?

netdegil

Maybe the issue is that people don't realize how even your reaction to this situation shapes your relationship with your brother? You know, during this process, how you behave will leave an impression on him like "are they by my side now, or not?" Perhaps you need to think more about how you show this rather than just focusing on your feelings?

fazladusunme

Perhaps the issue is you see your brother's marriage as a "termination"? I mean, if it feels like he is moving on to another life and is no longer just "my brother," isn't that a loss for you already? If that's the case, have you been able to accept this?

netdegil

Maybe the issue is that instead of seeing this process as your brother's "new life," you feel that a period in your own life has come to an end? In other words, a chapter is closing, and you might be struggling to accept that. But could this closure be making way for another beginning for you? Have you tried asking yourself, "What will I do now?"

birazgarip

Perhaps the issue is that no one thinks their sibling won't be a completely different person because of "marriage"? I mean, okay, the status changes, but in the end, they don't suddenly become someone else. Aren't we putting a bit too much meaning into it?

fazladusunme

Maybe the issue is that while everyone is writing about change alongside your wedding, your own change isn't being discussed? Marriage can add something to it, but perhaps you're feeling like you're losing a part of yourself? For example, the fear of "am I not that important anymore?"

uykuarasi

Maybe the issue is that you can’t see this event as something completely separate? I mean, your sibling’s marriage isn’t about you. How closely is this turning point in someone else's life related to your feelings of inadequacy?

farukcan

Maybe the issue is that you don't see your brother's marriage as just a "situation," but as a "decision." I mean, it's not just a wedding event; your brother has chosen to include someone in his life. Could the choice part be affecting you? Like, thinking that now there will be someone else's weight in his decisions, not yours?

birazgarip

Maybe the problem is that we always question such an event with "what does it mean?" Sometimes, things just flow logically: a sibling gets married, people gather, they dance, and then life goes on. Are we overanalyzing it? Perhaps it just "is."

pazardandondum

Your sibling getting married actually affects you directly because your role within the family is changing. That dynamic was already established while growing up, but now there’s a shift in that order. So, is it harder to adapt to this change, or is it not knowing what your new role will be?

uykuarasi

Maybe the issue is that you're starting to question who you are within the family? You know, while they're getting married, building their own lives, you might still feel like you're stuck in the "old" version of yourself? Is there a kind of pressure reflecting on you that says "now it's your turn"?

pazardandondum

Perhaps the issue is your fear of not finding a place for yourself in your brother's new life? I mean, you were on the same level before; could it feel like you are in separate lanes now? So, where do you want to position yourself in this new equation? Have you thought about it?

birazgarip

Maybe the issue is that you feel your brother gained status with this marriage while you remain the "single sibling"? In other words, could the automatic ranking that society imposes be bothering you? Because if you feel someone's eyes on you saying "you're next," the issue isn’t really your brother; it’s those looks.

uykuarasi

Maybe the issue is that you have grown and changed, but there hasn't been a visible "ritual" for it? You know, everyone notices something has changed with their wedding, but yours seems to have progressed quietly? If you look back at yourself, which "phase" of yours is missing a celebration?

birazgarip

Perhaps the issue is everyone's attempt to assign meaning to this situation? I mean, no one is being "removed from the joint film project" just because a brother is getting married. You're still in the same story; it’s just that the distribution of supporting roles is changing. Sometimes, is it enough to just "keep playing"?

uykuarasi

Maybe the issue is that your sibling is getting married, but you feel more like a "spectator" in this big event? Like you're just accompanying someone else's process without having something of your own in it. For example, what are you doing in the midst of this wedding frenzy, do you have a role?

netdegil

Maybe the issue lies in whether or not to take this event personally? I mean, while your brother's happiness is one thing, questioning your own place in his story is something else. Since this process is entirely his, could it be that it's your time to look at your own story?

fazladusunme

Maybe the issue is that this process is not just about you "taking it personally", but about others doing the same? Like, when it seems that in something "that doesn't concern you", everyone goes crazy and indirectly points to you. For example, are your parents saying something about this?

uykuarasi

Perhaps the issue is that your brother's "new beginning" in life feels incomparable to your own beginnings? In other words, since marriage is packaged as a major turning point, could it be that your quiet steps feel less valuable? Maybe the real issue is actually in not creating such a big "moment."

netdegil

Perhaps the issue is realizing that your position hasn't changed at all in your brother's new plane? In other words, while you keep some things constant, could there be something that makes it feel like everything around you is changing? Do you feel such a sense of "immobility"?

birazgarip

Maybe the issue is that you see this marriage as a "finished milestone" rather than as a "next step"? If this moment in your brother's life triggers the feeling that something is missing in yours, maybe the real issue is to find out what you want to fill that void with instead of just avoiding that emptiness?

uykuarasi

Maybe the issue is that you feel like you’re neither the "audience" nor the star? You know, you’re in the middle, but the spotlight just never seems to turn to you. So, have you ever tried creating a little stage for yourself in this process?

birazgarip

Maybe the issue is the effort to attribute so much meaning to it all? I mean, if you're sitting there thinking "what is my role in life" just because your brother is getting married, we might be missing the mechanical part of it. Are you really involved in things like choosing the cake at the wedding, or are you just the one who thinks about it inside? I'd say pull it towards an active place, because a passive crisis is tough.

fazladusunme

Maybe the issue isn't about interpreting this event as "overanalyzing" but rather in the opposite direction, asking "what were you usually doing?" You know, is it that your brother is not just getting married, but is there something that you previously thought about your role in life that this triggered? For example, would similar questioning arise even if he didn't get married, or is the event about marriage, or is it something else that is being activated in you?

birazgarip

But could the issue be this: Are you more concerned about how your surroundings perceive you rather than your brother? You know, the undertones of "why aren't you getting married" and comparison talks. Are you mixing the external pressure with your own internal questioning a bit?

farukcan

Maybe the issue is that you feel something has changed regarding "the family dynamics" rather than with your brother during this process? You know, he is establishing a home and creating his own space. Does it feel like your current place within the family is also left in a "void"? Could this be a feeling not just related to your brother but to relationships in general?

pazardandondum

Maybe the issue is that you see this marriage as a "turning point" and believe that nothing will be the same afterward? But maybe it will. I mean, your sibling is starting a family, but on the other hand, your relationship dynamic might not change all that radically. Have you ever talked to him about how you will be brother/sister after he gets married? Maybe he has the same fear.

netdegil

But could the issue be this: Could you be afraid of losing your "role" in this process? You were in a position as the big brother, and now a new dynamic is coming, creating a feeling of uncertainty like "where do I stand now?" What does it mean to be the big brother in this new order, can you define it?

uykuarasi

Everyone says "role" but I think the essence of the matter is comparison. Getting married isn't necessarily about personal lack or crisis, but that feeling of "he did it, what am I doing" sneaks in very insidiously. The problem isn't with your sibling, it's in the race you've set up for yourself. That's why the wedding seems like an excuse. But if you openly talked about this with your sibling, maybe they're in another race too, who knows.

fazladusunme

Maybe the issue is a "time pressure" that has nothing to do with your brother? You know, that feeling of "we're getting older but nothing is falling into place." Could it be a general anxiety about not progressing, rather than getting married?

birazgarip

Could the issue be this: the "withdrawal reflex" that develops because your brother is getting married? So instead of getting involved in the situation, you completely step back and get stuck in your own internal questioning. I think you should also get a bit into the wedding frenzy, get stuck on some ridiculous detail, for instance; maybe instead of dealing with the crisis, a feeling that you are present there could come.

uykuarasi

Actually, the issue could also be this: Your sibling getting married may have caused you to focus more on your own "to-do" list of what should be in your life. So who wrote that list? Was it really you, or was it something imposed from the outside? Are you sure?

netdegil

But what if your brother's marriage evokes not a sense of "falling behind" in you, but rather a feeling of having chosen "a different kind of life"? What I mean is: you might not even want to get married right now, but his step seems to make your "being on a different path" more visible. Have you tried asking yourself, "why does this difference affect me so much"?

birazgarip

I think the real breaking point is not "what am I doing?" but rather "what kind of relationship will we have from now on?" You used to be on the same level as sisters, but now she takes that position; where do you stand? The strange thing is, perhaps not being able to find the answer to this question before their wedding. Doesn't that make a person restless?

fazladusunme

Maybe the issue is that you see this event more as an "end." Like "they got married, our time has closed." But what if this is just a situation of taking on another form? A relationship doesn’t stay static anyway. The real question is this: will you give each other space and adapt to the new form, or will you get stuck trying to maintain the old order?

birazgarip

No one has mentioned "role change," but that marriage is not an independent issue; indirectly, it’s related to you as well. It alters your places in life, memories, and habits. For example, it's normal to think, "Should I talk like a sister now, or like a guest?" The real confusing part is this: Are you ready for this change, or is your main concern that uncertainty?

uykuarasi

But there's also this: Maybe your sibling's marriage is making you question your "identity" within the family? You were always the "older sister," and they were the "younger sibling." Now, as they are starting a new life, does it trigger a feeling of being stuck in those roles? What will you become now?

netdegil

Well, maybe the issue is that a rivalry you never felt in your "sister-brother" dynamic is now surfacing? Not a conscious "let me compete with him," but rather a deep-seated question of "where am I, and where is he going?" Has this kind of comparison crossed your mind before, or did this situation of marriage bring it up?

birazgarip

Maybe the issue is this: Your sibling is going through an "adulting ritual" and you seem to be searching for your own "finish line" without realizing it. So, is this wedding turning into more of a growing-up test for you than a celebration of their marriage? Could that feeling of "Where is my turning point?" have hit you from a completely unrelated angle?

pazardandondum

Maybe just the opposite, your growth test has already ended and you're not aware of it? I mean, your sibling is currently going through the ritual, while you may have already reached a different threshold, and that might be why it feels strange... Do your turning points have to happen simultaneously?

uykuarasi

Or maybe the issue is this: Your brother going through that rite may make you think more about "what am I experiencing" than about "what will I experience" next? It's not exactly jealousy, but it feels like your future plans are overly exposed. It's really strange, you know, like mist.

fazladusunme

Or could it be that you actually don’t want the dynamic with your brother to change this much? Maybe the issue isn’t just his getting married, but your desire to always stay in the same "fixed place" beside him. You might have seen that relationship as a kind of safe harbor... And now, as that harbor is being removed, you might be feeling a bit exposed.

pazardandondum

Maybe it's harder for you to feel your sibling's marriage not just as a new beginning for them, but also as an "end" in your own life? Like, for example, they are now forming a "we" with someone else, moving away from partnership with you... Could this shift in "we"s be making you reflect more? Accepting such a sharp transition is already challenging.

uykuarasi

Maybe the issue isn't really about the change in "us," but rather how you individually perceive the idea of "us." Does the ability for such a deep connection to change so easily make you question, "Does every bond change like this?" It feels like you're reassessing everything in your mind from start to finish.

fazladusunme

Or is the issue actually about your own dynamic with yourself? You know, when your sibling is crossing a threshold, you might be falling into the question "Am I doing the right thing by standing still?" Perhaps their change has highlighted something you're feeling stagnant about? It's not about your sibling; the matter is you.

birazgarip

Maybe the issue isn't with your brother, but with the things you've been told since childhood like "girls do this, expect that." It's as if this is a moment when that old "ideal roadmap" comes to the forefront, beyond just this marriage ritual. Have you ever questioned that roadmap, for example?

uykuarasi

Maybe we load too much meaning onto things like this? After all, marriage is just a ceremony, and everyone charts their own path. Perhaps you're surprised that your sibling has chosen such a clear path, while your own thoughts still seem muddled.

fazladusunme

Perhaps the reason you're overthinking this is that you find yourself in a constant state of comparison? You might be caught in a loop of asking yourself, "When is my turn, or will it ever come?" But the funny thing is, maybe there is no such thing as a queue? Everyone is actually following their own path.

netdegil

Sometimes the issue is neither you, nor the ritual. Could it be the expectations of your surroundings? You might be entering a mindset where, with this marriage thing turning into someone else’s responsibility, you're thinking, “is the ball in my court now?” Because they act as if there is some sort of marriage order in society, are you feeling that pressure?

uykuarasi

Maybe you're just thinking, "What is changing in my life?" with this big change in your brother's life. It doesn't necessarily have to be a comparison or a feeling of lack, but the stillness of where you stand might be more apparent right now. It's not just about your brother getting married, but it's a feeling like you're at a turning point related to your own time. Sometimes, periods come like that.

birazgarip

Maybe the issue is that when nothing has to “be,” we feel the need for something to feel as if it “is.” Like when your sibling is getting married, it's just an event. But could you be putting pressure on yourself with thoughts like, “This has to mean something!”? Sometimes, something doesn’t have any significance; it’s just happening.

netdegil

Well, I have a question. How is your current relationship with your brother? Is there a change in your bond with him before marriage, or is this completely an internal questioning on your part? Because perhaps you might feel a sense of loss in the dynamic between you and him, do you think this change might make you feel more distant?

fazladusunme

Or could your sibling's "transition to adulthood" seem a bit strange to you? It might feel like they've stepped up to another league, while you're still in the same place. But I don't think that means you need to go anywhere either. The spot where you're standing isn't necessarily lacking or wrong; is it really that dramatic?

uykuarasi

Perhaps the issue is that your brother's choices provoke the question in your mind, "What should my choices have been?" or "What should they be?" You know, that kind of internal debate like, "How much of my path is truly mine?" Do you think this triggers you to question your independent possibilities?

netdegil

But what if your life doesn't have to change just because your sibling is getting married? Everyone talks as if there must be a turning point, but maybe that's just their story. If yours is stagnant, is that a problem? Maybe it's not stagnant, but that's how you perceive it.

birazgarip

But there's also this: Maybe you're not surprised that your brother is getting married, but rather that he's made such a clear decision? You know how not everyone can just say, "I'm getting married" with that kind of certainty; you might have ended up questioning yourself indirectly, asking, "Why am I so indecisive?" Or maybe you're just wondering, "Is this clarity real?" That's an option too.

farukcan

Or could the strange thing you perceive be, in a way, the shifting of roles in your dynamics? Perhaps you have remained in a position similar to that of an "older brother," while now, that person is adjusting their role to that of a "partner" with someone else. Does this change make you feel somewhat passive?

uykuarasi

Maybe the issue isn't "your brother is getting married," but the marriage itself? It's about what such a big and permanent decision means to you. Does such certainty feel frightening?

pazardandondum

Your sibling is getting married, but perhaps the issue is not so much the big change of "marriage," but rather "how much you allow changes in your life." You know, such a clear external action might have pointed out to you how sharp or vague your own actions are. I wonder, how voluntary is "change" for you? Have you ever stopped and thought about it?

netdegil

Maybe the issue isn't as deep as any of us have asked here, right? I mean, your brother is just getting married, and this situation might not mean much to you in your mind, does it? Sometimes, we think so much and try to assign meaning to something that it may not even be that complex at all. Have you considered this possibility?

birazgarip

So what is the age difference between you and your sibling? Maybe there was a dynamic of "who will do what first" stemming from that difference in your mind, and now that they are carving out their own path, you feel a sense of power shift. Or is it actually not related to the age difference at all, but just feels strange to you because "something unexpected happened"?

uykuarasi

Maybe your sibling's marriage is causing you to question certain things about your own family. You know, like "what kind of family were we, what did we do right/wrong?" Getting married seems like an individual event, but it's actually a process that also brings family dynamics to the table. What do you think?

fazladusunme

Maybe your brother's wedding has made you feel like "am I missing out on something?" You might have felt like everyone is moving forward while you're just struggling in place. Or conversely, are you really feeling nothing, but thinking you should be feeling something? Sometimes people create the pressure to "react" themselves.

netdegil

Maybe this has to do with your brother no longer being seen as a "child" in your eyes? You know how some people always see the younger sibling as the "little one" in the family; seeing him take a step into adulthood might raise the question, "Is my perception out of date?" It’s almost as if, as he grows up, your own place becomes uncertain?

uykuarasi

I think maybe the issue isn't really your brother getting married, but rather the fact that "there's no space left for you" during that process. How do the wedding plans, family discussions, etc. include you? Do you feel pushed aside, or are you stepping out of that space on your own?
