My spouse has been keeping track of my period dates closer than I have for the last month. Today, they kept asking, “Why is it so late? Is there a problem?” I found the conversation very strange since they were never one to care about such details. Should I be worried now? Or are they just being too controlling?

6I found it really strange, honestly. Why is he so obsessed with it? I mean, he might be concerned about her health, but a guy who memorizes her period date seems weird to me.
Are you in the same house? I mean, how are you following this so closely? I don’t understand.
@kahvebitmeden yeah, we’re in the same house, we’ll talk when you get back from work. I noticed you took a note on your phone the other day. To be honest, I didn’t know that much.
@biseydiycem why would that be weird? Maybe the guy wants kids, and he’s seriously making plans. He’s not controlling, quite the opposite, he could be someone investing in his family 
From a medical perspective, the regularity of menstruation is important, but if your partner made such a note without sharing it with you, it could turn into a boundary issue. Clarify by talking; it will become clear whether it’s a health concern or something else.
I think the guy wants a child. I couldn’t find any other explanation
