Today I thought I’d shorten my hair a bit, so I went to the hairdresser. I guess they didn’t understand, because my hair is almost cut like a men’s haircut. Now when I look in the mirror, I really feel sad. Should I have just asked for the opposite? Does anyone have any idea how to fix this hair?

9it happened to me too, you know. last year, the hairdresser just chopped off 10 cm in no time. the girl was so fast, I didn’t even realize it was done. I had to wait about 4 months for it to grow back. I think you should keep that hat on for a while 
but did he misunderstand when you explained it or did he not listen at all? I’m usually afraid I won’t be able to explain in detail

@sacmasapan I don’t think the hairdresser is guilty; sometimes the customer just doesn’t communicate clearly. That’s why it happens. But of course, you’ve experienced a trauma like this for 4 months.
If it’s so short, let me tell you what to do: wear a headband or try a small hairpin for a few weeks at least. Apply coconut oil regularly, it will speed up the growth a bit
By the way, these topics always come up. Women’s hairstylists have one set of issues, while barbers have another. So, common rule: prepare a photo of something before going to the hairdresser

@pratikci coconut oil story, did your hair really grow or did that time just pass without you realizing it? It’s a hassle to deal with applying something morning and night.
I think what hairdressers don’t understand is that everyone has a different interpretation of “a little” or “short.” What you consider “a little” at 1 cm might be 5 cm for them. Try talking in direct measurements: something like “3 cm for sure.” A photo also helps, but there’s still no guarantee; sometimes they just cut based on their habit.
