If it's so short, let me tell you what to do: wear a headband or try a small hairpin for a few weeks at least. Apply coconut oil regularly, it will speed up the growth a bit 🤭

I think what hairdressers don't understand is that everyone has a different interpretation of "a little" or "short." What you consider "a little" at 1 cm might be 5 cm for them. Try talking in direct measurements: something like "3 cm for sure." A photo also helps, but there's still no guarantee; sometimes they just cut based on their habit.
