It's a very specific thing, but family tracking on social media is really a gray area. If it bothers you, it would have been better to mention it from the start. I can't say whether there's an ethical violation in the shared posts, but it creates a problematic dynamic.

@benbisorayim it's already unethical, it's a problem to trivialize and spread someone's private life by saying we saw this too. It may not fall under the legal aspect, but it's socially wrong.

Even if they did it just for fun with the follower base, it wasn't nice for them to focus on you. By directly saying, "Such posts disturb me," you would clarify the underlying message in their mind and also put a stop to such behaviors. However, if you don't respond, they'll likely make it a habit to continue.
