He said he doesn't want alimony, but his lawyer is saying something different

I think there's something else going on here. I mean, saying at first that they don't want anything and then asking for other things through a lawyer... maybe they've been pressured by their surroundings, but I can't quite figure it out.

Bro, I’m sorry but you’ve been a bit naïve from the start too. I mean, these things can’t be solved with the mindset of "I’ll just look at the words." Did you write it down? If you haven’t, it seems like you’ve created your own problem.

If things are like this even with someone like you, what a situation we're in. To be honest, a person should appreciate others and show them the way, but not everyone thinks like you do.

It's concerning to just throw the ball back with "it's what the lawyer said, not me." These kinds of things shouldn't be given any leeway from the start. 🙄

But it seems like you haven't explained everything, did the lawyer just suddenly appear? Did you discuss this matter without a lawyer, were you going to go for a settlement? It feels like there's a detail missing there 🙄

@kahvebitmeden we always said it was mutual, but then the lawyer came in and it's gotten complicated. I think his mother might also be involved.
