My fiancée's mother told me to cover my shoulders
There is one month left until my wedding, I chose my wedding dress months ago and my fiancé liked it as well. When I came out of the fitting yesterday, my future mother-in-law showed me other models in the car and said this one has an open neckline, people will talk on our side. My fiancé then suggested adding a bit of tulle to keep my mom from being upset. My own mom also said don't ruin the taste, it's just for one day, but honestly, it feels like the issue is not just about the tulle. Now I'm thinking if I stay silent, will they interfere in everything in the marriage too? But I don't want to cause a scene when it's so close.
