My employer underpaid my salary, should I resign or file a lawsuit?

For the last 3 months, my salary has been showing as incomplete on the payslip, and they said they would complete it in cash, but it still hasn't been done. The company is small, but they don't seem to be in a very difficult situation. Should I pursue my rights or should I just resign immediately? In such a situation, would I be justified if I filed a lawsuit, in your opinion?

Honestly, this cash payment situation is messed up from the start. When I was working somewhere, they said the same thing, and later they adopted an attitude like, 'your salary is already this.' I tried to stand up for my rights, but I ended up stressed and nothing got resolved. It’s really draining, I think you should consider working in a place that takes you seriously.

You actually look like you've turned a bit of a blind eye as well. I mean, if the salary was missing from the payroll, you should have refused it from the start and requested something in writing. What is the promise of cash payment based on? Of course, pursue your rights, but it seemed like you also contributed to this gap.

In such cases, labor courts investigate the difference between payroll and declaration. The lack of a payroll is already the employer's responsibility. However, proving the unpaid portion can be difficult; for example, if there are messages or emails, they can be assessed. Such a situation can be directly subject to a lawsuit. Still, it would be healthier to talk with a lawyer.

Friends, I really didn't know it was this common. They mentioned the payment commitment right at the start of work. At that time, it was hard for me to find a job, so I didn’t question it much, I guess. But now, it has become quite a problem, there’s no proof or anything. If I were to sue, does it matter what I have? I'm really confused.

So why weren't you insistent in the first month when they said they would give the payment? And also, as you mentioned, if they don't have any issues, then why are they underpaying the salary? Maybe they're postponing the rights of other workers this way too; that's what comes to my mind directly 🫠
