Are Serenay and Kıvanç really in love or is it just an act?

You’ve probably watched the series Yalı Çapkını, but I find it strange that Serenay and Kıvanç can look so harmonious and chat like a couple. Is there really chemistry, or is it just good PR? Do you think there might be some truth to the romance rumors that started on set?

I think it’s completely acting. I mean, Serenay and Kıvanç are already the best in the business. Does love just spring up on set like that? They do this for PR all the time anyway. Maybe sometimes things deepen, but right now this is just work. Otherwise, everyone in this industry would be in a relationship.

My brother said while watching, ‘dude, their partner selection is perfect, they really complement each other.’ But on the other hand, he also said, ‘they keep staring at each other, man, if I were in their place, I wouldn’t know if it’s love or business.’ Honestly, it’s confusing, totally normal

My daughter, that’s the job of actors, how else would they do it? Just because every harmony is beautiful, does that mean it’s love? Of course not, it’s probably PR. But still, one must be careful; both Serenay and Kıvanç seem like loving people, maybe there was a spark.

I experienced such a situation while working on a show. Back then, everyone on set was saying, ‘Look at that scene, there’s definitely something going on between them.’ But later we found out it was entirely directed by the director. It might be different now, but generally in these kinds of things, it’s not about feelings, but experience.

Such situations may often be the result of conscious strategies by PR teams and producers to help viewers form an emotional connection. Rumors of romance between couples that appear particularly compatible in a production are usually an attempt to create a bond outside the script. However, it’s best not to comment without reaching definitive information.

Let me add something here, Kıvanç’s looks at Serenay in some scenes from Yalı Çapkını went pretty viral on TikTok. People are saying that such looks don’t happen in real roles, so what if we consider that? But of course, it might all be fiction :woman_facepalming:
