My followers have been decreasing in a way I donāt understand for the last month. Iām putting in a lot of effort, my content is regular, but especially under my recent posts, Iām getting a lot of malicious comments. Do you think itās because of trolls, or are they just tired of my style? Should I maybe go on a social media detox now?

9The same thing happened to me, like, 3 months ago. I woke up one morning and suddenly lost 40 followers. Apparently, I had tweeted something very political without realizing it, and people came from unrelated backgrounds. Maybe a specific post of yours triggered it too.
Youāre definitely going through a tough time, I understand. I create lifestyle content, but last month, when I posted a few personal photos, some people said, āYouāve turned it into a story.ā But Iād say to keep going without worrying too much about perceptions 
Itās normal for my daughter to encounter such things. If youāre doing your job properly, you shouldnāt let these get to you. These trolls exist to drain your energy. If you ask me, take a little break from social media these days, but donāt quit it entirely.
I donāt understand this logic. You mentioned negative comments, so why are you so affected by them instead of just deleting and blocking them? This is your job after all; try to approach it a bit more professionally.
Most of these negative comments are a show of power. People feel entitled to express that they are āboredā so quickly, especially with female content creators. I think itās not about style, but a matter of stance 
Let me add that negative comments generally come under my old tarot videos. There are people who write things like āthe lost soul of the new videos.ā They are always criticizing the past anyway.
Itās probably something related to the algorithm. Normally, old followers expect content that competes with the new ones. If you disrupt the balance a little, their interest in you weakens. Itās actually quite common.
Follower declines on some social media platforms can be due to both algorithm updates and the cleaning of fake accounts. However, if malicious comments are not deleted, they can also decrease engagement. You can experiment with a seasonal style to target a different audience.
Not everyone is obligated to produce something. Maybe you really should have continued with that zodiac content. When people follow, they want to know what to expect; they donāt want to be surprised. In my opinion, thereās something wrong with this
