Honestly, I love using pads and my mom keeps saying I should use tampons. I don't understand why she is so insistent about it. Everyone has different preferences, but I feel under constant pressure. What do you think could be behind this?
I still use a pad too; I tried tampons for years but couldn't get comfortable. My mom pressured me at one point saying they aren't hygienic. I think that might be her perspective 🫠
Did she say why she thinks it's healthier? Where exactly did she derive this from?
@kahvebitmeden my mom says she feels more comfortable exercising because it doesn't leak out or anything. But I'm happy with a pad.

In fact, there isn't much difference as long as hygiene is maintained in both. If a pad is not changed for a long time, the risk of infection increases; a tampon also carries the risk of toxic shock syndrome. Use whichever one is comfortable for you.
