We have our engagement party in three weeks, the invitations have been sent out, and even gold talk has started. Last night, while having coffee, a notification popped up on his phone with his ex-girlfriend's name and a heart emoji, and he reflexively turned his phone face down. When I pressed him about it, he said, "It's not an old story, it was just a funny story," but at that moment, I completely froze. For the past two days, he seems to be treating me really softly, almost as if he's trying to smooth things over. If I bring this up to our families, it'll create chaos; if I don't, I've got a pit in my stomach. I'm really curious whether this kind of thing gets blown up or downplayed.

this is a classic excuse for a story, isn’t it? my ex did the same thing, then it turned out it was just an excuse. where do the story comedians even show up? 😂

I don't think the purpose is to ask, so let me get straight to the point: what's the deal with that heart emoji? Using an emoji in a story share is already meaningless.

@geceyedogru not everyone is the same, why do you always assume someone is a "fraud"? maybe it's genuinely a reminiscence of the past in the story, but there's no ill intent.
