I'm hesitant to get tested, but the symptoms are confusing

I've been experiencing nausea and dizziness for the last few days. The suspicion of pregnancy has started to bother me, but on the other hand, I'm hesitant thinking, 'What if I take a test and I'm wrong?' I'm also nervous about going to the hospital because it feels like it would be a bit too early to panic. Has anything like this happened to you? Should I take a test at home first, or would it be better to go directly to the doctor?

I also had dizziness for a while, and I even went to the doctor; they said it was blood pressure, but pregnancy never crossed my mind. Doing a test is actually easier; even if it comes back false, it doesn't hurt.

just do the test, nothing changes when you wait.

How many days has it been since these symptoms started? And is the nausea constant or does it come and go? 😳

@uykuarasi I'm talking about 3-4 days. The nausea especially occurs in the mornings, but it seems to continue slightly throughout the day as well.

@yazankalp downplaying blood pressure could be wrong; dizziness can be a sign of everything. A test is really cheap, at least you can rule out one option.

It’s not that scary of a test. If it comes back wrong, so what? Just take a look at what the result is before seeing the doctor.

The reliability of home tests may be low in the early stages, especially if the first urine sample is taken in the morning. If there is a risky situation, going to gynecology without delay will yield clearer results.
