The test results are uncertain, but I'm scared

Today there was a 2-day delay, and I took a test, but the result was very unclear. Now, what I read online is confusing me. My friends said, ‘Even if it’s not a pregnancy sign, you should see a doctor,’ but now, what should I really do?

I also had an uncertain line like this once; I had tested again two days later. It came back negative, but I still think you should talk to the doctor to clarify things.

You guys are debating everything on the internet, but isn’t it more sensible to take the sealed box of the pregnancy test to an expert? You say there’s uncertainty, but who are you trusting for comments?

Which brand of test did you use? Some have a higher rate of false results, and did you do it with the first urine of the morning?

@kahvebitmeden Yes, I did it with the first urine, but it was just any one I got from the store. Honestly, I didn’t pick a brand or anything.

An unclear result is usually due to low hormone levels. If you wait a week and repeat the test, the results will be clearer, but in the meantime, seeing a gynecologist is the best course of action. Maybe a blood test will be done.

@camkenari it’s perfectly normal for people to want to get information online about their own lives, I don’t understand why you’re so upset.

If you could get the direct test done, it would be more certain :face_exhaling:

Choosing a brand randomly might be a mistake, as some are low sensitivity. Instead of going for “any test,” it makes sense to do some research and buy a better-known brand to try again. If your hormone levels are low, it’s tough to get accurate results with a store-bought test.
