Do famous couples always live in the same house?

I saw on a magazine page yesterday that a very famous couple has separated their homes but they’re still in a relationship. They talked about freedom and such, but honestly, it seemed a bit strange to me. Do people really do this in relationships now? Do you think it makes sense, or is it just absurd?

I had experienced something similar in the past. It was a long relationship, but we had to separate for a while. The reason wasn't freedom, actually, there was some repair work at her place. But it feels strange, like you're living two parallel lives. Especially when you send a "good night" message on WhatsApp in the evenings, it just feels weird.

It doesn't make any sense to me. I mean, if you're together, why aren't you living in the same house? Is this how a relationship is supposed to be? I'm not talking about societal pressure or anything, but if you're looking towards starting a family, this feels pretty far from it 😂

Actually, this is referred to as "living together but separately." It's a situation that arises in modern relationships, especially in big cities. The need for both parties to maintain their personal space can lead to this kind of solution. The key thing here is whether both parties are happy in this system.

Let me add this too, for example, according to what I've read, the couple's separate homes are already close, meaning they live in the same neighborhood. Maybe they thought it would be easy, but wouldn't it be difficult in the long run like this? 🤦‍♀️

I think there's something else going on. I mean, the neighborhood is close, so why would they suddenly separate the houses? Is there really an emotional reason, or could there be a topic they can't agree on? It feels like something is being hidden.

I also lived in different cities from my spouse for a while because of work, but I hadn't experienced anything like that when we were dating. Honestly, distance increases the coldness; no matter how much you call it 'freedom', at some point, putting distance between you tires the relationship, in my opinion.
