It got me thinking, some celebrities are always posting love-filled messages to each other, and they look so happy in their stories that⊠One naturally wonders, âIs it real, or is there something else going on?â What do you think, is such a public display of love sincere? Or are they playing a âgameâ with us?
I went through the same thing with my girlfriend for a period; we would post stories all the time and everyone was envious. But it wasnât as it appeared from the outside, and when things fell apart between us, I realized that she was aiming to create a complete âhappiness perceptionâ as well. So I would say, donât trust what you see.
I think youâre being too paranoid. I mean, why would they play games? They might have wanted to share their love, to immortalize the happy moments theyâve had, and so on. Letâs not look for a âstrategyâ in everything.
In popular culture, there is something called âperformative intimacy.â It refers to the public display of feelings that are inherently private. When combined with advertising deals or career strategies, this increases even more. Of course, not every relationship is like this, but when it becomes so media-driven, the dynamic can change.
Let me add this too, I feel a bit uncomfortable about it. They never share their normal discussions or everyday things. Itâs always a perfect picture. It inevitably leads to comparisons, like why isnât my relationship like that.
The same thing happened with my cousin. They were quite a flashy couple on social media, but behind the scenes, they were constantly fighting. We were really shocked. They seemed extremely happy from the outside. I think you shouldnât just look at their posts.
I think everyone is already showing their happy moments on social media in one way or another. So, thereâs no one left who doesnât know itâs not completely real anymore. But is it like playing into the game knowingly? Thatâs debatable. Maybe the other side wants this, who knows.
