Do we have to know everything about celebrity couples?

Recently, a gossip show discussed the intimate secrets of a famous couple's bedroom, and I was shocked while hearing the details. Why should we care about this? Okay, it piques our curiosity and all, but do you think it’s right for such private matters to be exposed? We say privacy is important, yet we can't help but watch. Isn’t that a contradiction?

I think the problem is not with us, but with the media. Who is producing the show that talks about bedroom secrets? Who allows this? But as long as there are viewers, it will continue. For example, I couldn't resist, I took a peek at that episode, but then I regretted it. It makes you feel empty and uncomfortable.

I swear, these things have become normal now. For example, even friends don’t feel embarrassed sharing such stuff on TikTok. Celebrities are also benefiting from this. It feels like there’s no more privacy left. But don’t watch or support it so it can end 😅

But on the other hand, we should think about this: if we aren't watching, why are these shows always getting ratings? It means we want them. If we criticize them and still watch, that's also a contradiction; let's be honest.

In popular culture, this is called oversharing. People tend to distance themselves from judging others while watching them. Respect for privacy is important, but nowadays social media and gossip are intentionally blurring those boundaries. The audience also encourages this with a kind of uncontrolled curiosity.

Thanks for the comments. To be honest, you're right; even if I say I shouldn't care too much, I still watch sometimes. But then I feel uncomfortable. Especially, this couple's situation had so many details, it felt like there was no innocence left.

But while looking at those details, we actually become one of those who violate privacy. Then we say, 'oh no, that's shameful' and so on. Maybe we should start by not watching and not spreading. But it's a habit, of course; it's a tough job in our society.
