Something similar happened to me. It's not my aunt, but in our neighborhood, there's a legendary system where everyone seems to report each and every story separately. Something my girlfriend shared made its way to my mom. Then my mom asked why she was sharing such things... I mean, I could go on and on, but families are even worse stalkers on social media, that's for sure.
Did you mention your mom to your girlfriend beforehand? Is this the first time she's heard something like this? Maybe that's why she's so shocked.

@kirmizikazak maybe you should look at yourself a bit too; no one would dare say anything about their mother-in-law. If your girlfriend shared it, then there must be something attention-grabbing or a situation that's bothering you. Check that first.
Privacy is also important in these matters. Even things that seem ordinary on social media can be misunderstood. I think it's a problem if your family intervenes too much, but you need to talk to your partner about how much they can be bothered by stories. If you're complaining, maybe it would be better if they made a private account or something.

@aklimkaldi you say you got embarrassed in the title, but the situation is pretty simple. Your aunt has shown it to your mother, and your mother already knows about your girlfriend. I think the real issue to comment on is your aunt's role. Why is she spreading your personal life? That's what you should ask.
