Are the 'excesses' of the new phenomenon couple enjoyable or disturbing?

There’s a popular couple on TikTok who are always posing in very luxurious places with expensive gifts. It feels like everything is being shoved in our faces… But on the other hand, they’re extremely stylish and fun. So, does it come off as sincere or too fake? I can’t decide. What do you think?

If you find everything about them to be fake, then stop watching. Seriously, if they’re shoving it in your face this much, they’re clearly shouting ‘we’re a phenomenon, we’re making money.’ It’s pointless to look for something genuine under such things.

Well, that’s how TikTok is anyway. It’s hard to tell who’s being natural and who’s being fake. But I find it entertaining sometimes. I check it out every now and then, and if I get bored, I just move on. I don’t think there’s any need to get too caught up in it.

I was in a friend group where everyone was constantly posting super fancy pictures in stylish places on Instagram. At first, it seemed fun, but then it literally turned into a competition. Real friendship was gone. This couple seems to be in the same situation.

Actually, being a social media influencer is now like a profession. While people might wonder if it’s ‘genuine or not,’ it’s entirely a marketing strategy. So instead of thinking ‘is it real or not’ when you see this kind of content, focus on the entertainment they provide, because that’s the whole point.

On one hand, it’s nice of course, beautiful clothes, venues and all that… But as you said, the constant ‘look, we are here’ vibe can get a bit exhausting. Sometimes I find myself wanting to ask, ‘why do you need this much luxury?’.

I think there’s a situation here: either they look so glamorous because of sponsorships or everything is on credit. They say many couples like this are actually drowning in debt behind the scenes. Of course, if they’re really that wealthy, then it’s different.

Let me update you: I actually find it a bit fun, and I’m still watching it, but after a while, it leaves a strange feeling of discomfort. I started to wonder if I might be overreacting. Am I the only one feeling this way?
