Am I making a mistake in choosing underwear during my period?

One of the things I experience from time to time is that I can never figure out which underwear to wear when I’m on my period. The tight ones are uncomfortable, and the really loose ones feel like they’re going to slide off. The bra is fine, but I’m not satisfied with anything for the bottom. Especially at night, what kind of thing is better to wear? Do you have any suggestions?

Things have really messed me up at times too. I switched to cotton, moderately supportive slip models right away. They’re both protective and comfortable, and they don’t slip at night. I recommend you give it a try.

I prefer boxer-style ones when it comes to briefs. Not too tight, not too loose; I can move around at night without any issues. I think you should give it a try.

Honestly, you seem a bit indecisive too. You say the tight one is uncomfortable, and the loose one is slipping; so, what about the middle ground? We all found it through trying things out, just listen to yourself a bit.

My suggestion for situations where GİGİ (clothing hygiene days) is sensitive is this: If you need to change your underwear frequently, opt for medium loose soft materials. For the night, definitely use extra long night pads. Balance it with loose clothing.

In the meantime, yes, I’ve tried cotton things but I always have a slipping problem at night. Boxers feel a bit difficult, do you have any other suggestions? Maybe another brand or model.

I was living like you too, always stressed about slipping at night. Then I started wearing things like knee-length tights when I went to bed, and the pad stayed in place. I think you should try it.

I think you’re being a bit too sensitive. I’ve been wearing briefs for years, and I’ve never experienced any “slipping” issues, for example. Could there be a problem with your movements?

I went through a similar period. Especially try wearing boxers with night pads. Yes, it might feel a bit odd at first, but after 2-3 nights, you’ll feel extremely comfortable.

I think you haven’t found your own solution yet. The laundry is the same shape everywhere, the main issue might be a wrong pad size or a wrong sitting habit.
