Should I see a doctor for acne, or should I try products?

I’ve been getting a lot of acne on my face lately. They especially won’t go away on my cheeks and chin, and some of them are actually hurting. I’ve tried a few natural masks and creams from the pharmacy, but I haven’t found anything that works. Do you think I should see a dermatologist, or should I try something else? Has anyone tried an effective solution at home?

If my daughter had a solution in her or my hands, I’m sure you wouldn’t be struggling this much. I think you should go straight to a dermatologist. If she were my daughter, I definitely wouldn’t neglect it.

I used to get pimples on my chin just like you. The doctor said it was hormonal, and it turned out to be polycystic ovary syndrome. It’s learned with a very simple blood test. I wouldn’t take any risks; I recommend seeing a doctor.

Go directly to a dermatologist. Most of them already prescribe medication and you’ll recover in no time. The things done externally usually don’t affect what you’re calling painful acne.

Annen may be right, teenage acne really does go away over time. It’s not something to worry too much about. People are going through worse things, so don’t stress yourself out for no reason.

Actually, let me add that these pimples didn’t come out that much during the period I wore a mask during the pandemic. I don’t understand what’s happening now. Do you think a hormone test should really be done?

Those painful pimples on the jaw can drive you crazy. I’ve experienced it too. I tried everything, and in the end, the dermatologist helped me out with a mild antibiotic. I recommend you go see one.

Forget about your mother, you might have made a mistake too. You say it wasn’t there when you were using a mask; maybe you neglected to clean your face? I don’t think it’s very meaningful to rush to the doctor without paying attention to your daily habits.

What kind of logic is that? Just saying that teenage acne goes away in time isn’t enough! People feel uneasy just looking in the mirror; do they really relax without going to someone to check it?
