My spouse hasn't spoken to me in months

For the last few weeks, my spouse has been coming home and going inside without saying hello. Normally, they would at least say hi, but now it feels like we are strangers to each other. I'm also too afraid to ask them anything. I wonder if there's another problem or if they don't want me?

I mean, I went through the same things a while ago. My spouse would either not talk at all or give short answers as soon as they got home. When that happened, I also distanced myself, but one day we opened up and talked. It turned out they were stressed from work; everything changed.

Why did you say it like that? I didn't quite understand that part. I mean, didn't he find a reason to say something?

Actually, it seems like there's a struggle to make ends meet. It's tough to manage a household, especially in these times it’s a bit difficult. I'm thinking, given this situation, are there other options? 🫠

@pazardandondum you avoided it too then, I think instead of running away from these situations, we need to talk. Problems always accumulate; they need to be solved.

In such situations, communication can be difficult. However, talking comfortably with someone open or perhaps going to a therapist can also be helpful. Emotional states are very complex, and it can be hard to deal with them on your own.

"There’s something else going on here. Something is happening at home with someone, otherwise this kind of silence isn’t normal. Maybe they’ve had some issues with a close friend, since things in marriage can be affected from the outside."
