I want to get a rhinoplasty, but my family strongly opposes it.

I've hated this hump on my nose for as long as I can remember; I literally turn my head in every photo, but my parents keep insisting that my natural look is better. I've actually saved up my money and don't need anyone's help, but on the other hand, I'm also afraid of causing unrest at home. Do you think I should ignore my family and just book the surgery date, or should I try to convince them? I'm really conflicted.

I totally get it, you must have turned your neck so much to avoid that belt showing in every photo. It really stresses a person out to hesitate even with the money you've saved up, thinking it might cause disturbances at home.

I think you should go directly and consult a doctor for the design, then show that photo to your mom and explain your determination. You've already saved your money and prices only go up as time passes, so I recommend you book the surgery date without wasting any time.
