My budget is tight, but I keep regretting buying unbranded clothes

I bought so many clothes just because they were cheap, and now I've ruined them almost all after just the second wash. Should I spend even more money now? On the one hand, I want to agree with my friend who says 'brand doesn't always mean quality,' but seriously, I've experienced everything. Should we really buy less but better? Do you think expensive items are generally more durable?

How many different unbranded clothes did you buy that became deformed so quickly? Do you ever check the fabric labels? I've had the same trouble because of unbranded polyester lovers; I only buy selectively now.

I think when buying clothes, you should also consider hand washing a bit. Sometimes, if you don't follow the washing instructions, you can ruin even the most expensive item. Have you tried that?

It's definitely not true that expensive is always better. But on the other side of this, there are low-quality goods produced with cheap labor. Your regret is actually a system where those workers lost their rights before you got the product you bought. You didn't set up this system, but you're living with its effects.

I've just noticed the polyester issue and I think I've always bought those kinds of things because they're cheaper. But I buy them thinking I'll wear them 2-3 times, so I wish they were at least durable. But with such hopes... I'm going to start checking the fabric labels.

I think most of the stuff you bought just because it's cheap and unbranded might be imitation or something. For example, there are a lot of these 'quality-looking' products in markets, but once you open them, they're all synthetic. Where do you usually buy them? Regular shops? 🙂

Same here, sis, I also learned a lesson from the crop top I bought last month. I got it from the market, washed it once, and it expanded like a horse and turned into a home outfit. I’m saying now, I will buy less but use it a lot.

The debate between 'branded is good' and 'unbranded is bad' never ends because it all depends on how you use it. Are you blaming the fabric directly without looking at how you're cleaning it?
